Pace offers top quality online continuing education for Florida electrical contractors. Our easy-to-use modular training is the perfect solution for busy electricians who need both comprehensive and thorough electrical continuing education credits.

As part of our commitment to being a full service continuing education, we're one of the few CE providers to offer Florida contractors false alarm prevention training. This course is required for Florida electrical contractors who work with alarm systems, and you can easily bundle it with any of our other courses. Maintaining your electrical contractor license is the key to staying on top of industry trends and building customer confidence..

Pace provides continuing education courses for Florida electricians in all the major cities and counties including, but not limited to:

Alachua, Brevard, Broward, Dade, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lee, Leon, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Seminole, St. Johns, Volusia

Daytona, Ft. Lauderdale, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Pensacola, Punta Gorda, Tampa, Tallahassee

Florida CE providers are required to report course completion to the state DBPR within 10 business days of course completion. However, Pace reports your courses much quicker than the 10 business days required by the state. Pace has automated electronic reporting with the Florida DBPR. Courses are reported individually at the time each course is completed. The first course you complete with Pace is queued for us to manually review your license information and report to the state. This is typically done in 1 to 2 business days. Subsequent courses are reported immediately upon course completion (within seconds). Once reported, the course status will display a "Reported" icon rather than the "Completed" icon. The state updates its MyFloridaLicense.com database each night, so courses completed and reported typically show up on their site the next day. You also can print out a Certificate of Completion for each course for your own records.

For Florida licensed electrical contractors 11 or 7 hours of board approved continuing education is required each biennium prior to the renewal period for both certified and registered contractors. Specific requirements are based on electrical license type.

Contractors who are engaged in alarm system contracting must take a 2 hour false alarm prevention course as a part of their continuing education.
