Utah Electrician (DOPL) Continuing Education Requirements
Pursuant to Sections 58-55-302.7 and 58-55-303
, each licensee shall complete 16 hours of continuing education during each two year license term
(November 30th of even years). A minimum of 8 hours shall be core education and 4 hours must be based on NFPA 70E (Fire Protection). The remaining four hours may be core, NFPA 70E or professional credits. Currently we do not have an approved NFPA 70E course.
Note: Our approval covers electrician licenses that end in -5502, -5503, -5504, -5505, or -5506. Our approval does not cover a contractor license that ends in -5501.
