Course Description


This course is part of a series of courses and certification on the Conflict-Free Home Remodeling Process. The courses were written by Stephen Gidus and the remodeler certification is offered through REMODology, LLC. “REMODology Part VII – Construction Process and Conclusion” covers the three steps of the construction phase; construction preparation, construction and post construction. Items that need to be addressed or completed prior to starting the project set up and demolition are covered. A review of items that can take place during construction to provide the homeowner with peace of mind and prepare for the successful completion of the project is also outlined.

Finally the conclusion of the project is explored, reviewing items of information given to the homeowner to be kept for reference.

Instructor Bio


Bonnie PrinseBonnie Prinse

Ms. Prinse holds a BS Degree in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College and has pursued master degree studies in Aquatic Zoology at the University of South Florida. She has written scientific portions of impact statements for wetland/upland land delineation, endangered species studies, and water quality testing while employed with a civil engineering and architectural firm in Tampa, FL. Her experience in environmental studies and new construction lend itself to documentary film making, particularly environmental stories that have taken her to the Amazon in Peru and to Costa Rica. Most recently her involvement with earthen construction projects led to a video production showcasing the benefits of building “green.”
