Course Description

This course is part of a series of courses and certification on the Conflict-Free Home Remodeling Process. The courses were written by Stephen Gidus and the remodeler certification is offered through REMODology, LLC. REMODology Part I - Get Paid for Your Time, describes techniques that allow the contractor to get paid for their time every step of the way and feeling comfortable doing it. Getting paid not just for the Construction phase but also the Pre Construction phase; including the first site visit to the prospective client's home.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have a better understanding of how to:

  • Discuss various benefits relating to why remodelers should get paid for their Pre Construction time
  • Identify reasons why Pre Construction work gets done but the remodeler doesn't get paid for their time
  • Determine why a remodeling process is necessary
  • Describe an overview of The Conflict-Free Home Remodeling Process
