This one hour module covers interpersonal relationship skills and the knowledge required to succeed as a sales professional. Relationships, including the relationships you build with your customers, prospects, sales team, boss, and colleagues, are a vital part of your job. You will also discover personality attributes, and how to deal with different personality types. You will discover how people make decisions, and how they avoid making decisions. Your understanding of differences in personality and decision motivators, combined with your knowledge of products and the industry overall are important to your success.
 



Course Objectives


By the time you complete this module you should be able to: 

  • Recognize interpersonal relationship skills, and how they assist with building customer relationships.
  • Describe how Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs relates to sales. 
  • Describe how understanding customers’ feelings, inertia, and ego can increase sales.
  • Demonstrate how to create a positive selling atmosphere
