The Media Factory, Inc. (d/b/a PacePDH.com) has been approved as a continuing education(CE) provider for Louisiana Residential Building Contractors by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) since 2008.
The LSLBC does not approve individual courses, just the continuing education providers themselves. Regardless of your license renewal date, Residential Building Contractors are required to complete a minimum of six hours of continuing education annually by a board approved provider. Therefore, you must complete 6 continuing education (CE) hours annually by December 31st.
Simply choose topics from the course selection below that most interest you as there are no specific course category requirements.
You are required to maintain a copy of your certificates of completion for five years and be able to make the certificate available to the board upon request. Pace will keep these certificates for you, so you can return and print/download them later if needed.
A contractor who holds a residential building contractor license and a valid, current license in the major classifications of building construction; highway, street and bridge construction; heavy construction; or municipal and public works construction, shall be exempt from this continuing education requirement.
