Course Description
This four-hour online course covers all pertinent statutes, rules, code changes and provisions, scope of license, permit procedures and requirements, and Oregon amendments to the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC).
OESC changes found in Table 1-E (2023), statewide code interpretations, appeals process and the location of electrical requirements are covered in this course.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Summarize the process to find code changes
- Describe the OESC amendments to the NFPA 70 found in Table 1-E (2023)
- Explain statewide code interpretations, electrical licensing clarifications, statewide alternate methods and the process to request code interpretation
- Discuss the appeals process including the informal process, formal process, code appeal process and the administrative appeal process
- State the location of electrical requirements
