Course Description
This one-hour course fulfills the State of Florida required continuing education on law and rule changes for Professional Engineers. This course will cover changes to Title XXXII Chapters 455 and 471 of the Florida Statutes, changes to Rule 61G15 of the Florida Administrative Code, and give examples of recent disciplinary cases.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Describe changes to the practice and regulation of engineering listed in Title XXXII Chapters 455 and 471
- Summarize professional conduct as it pertains to Florida Administrative Code Rule 61G15
- Determine lawful and ethical actions drawn from the case study examples
- Identify possible disciplinary action imposed by the FPBE for violations of Florida Laws and Rules
