Course Description

This course is part of a series of courses on the Conflict-Free Home Remodeling Process by Stephen Gidus. “REMODology Part 2 – Up-Front Remodeling” helps the remodeler understand why the homeowner is contacting them. The more they understand what the homeowner knows the easier it will be to sell to and service the homeowner – their customer. Most importantly, they will come to understand why the homeowner will be willing to pay them for your time to plan their remodeling project.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Determine how to avoid spending more than they can afford
  • Discuss why remodeling seems more expensive than new construction
  • Explain why putting a project “out to bid” can be a set up for failure
  • Identify what is behind the walls – before construction
