Course Description

There comes a point where projects move from the hope of an owner to a completed structure. Multiple paths can be taken to complete such a project, described all together as "project delivery methods."

No single approach is best, though some may be more applicable to a given project, based on the owner’s goals. Each method allocates risks and responsibilities differently, to the various parties involved in that project, and places different demands upon them. In each case, contracts are written for the chosen delivery path, defining the way forward for each participant working to make the dream a reality.

A large part of determining which project delivery method to use on a given project, will be determining how the responsibilities mentioned above, will be allocated to which project participant.
