This interactive distance-learning course is an extensive and popular program analyzing the major changes to the National Electric Code (NFPA 70™) for the 2014 cycle. Members of the nineteen NEC code-making panels contributed to the development of the authoritative text used in this online course.

The IAEI staff and PacePDH.com have worked together to develop a quality online program that will provide information about code changes covering the safe installation and use of electrical products in the 2014 National Electrical Code.

IAEI's Analysis of Changes 2014 NEC - Part I course covers 60 of the most significant code –wide and Chapter 1 through Article 406 code changes. This includes interpretations by the group that enforces the Code. Specifically the course covers code-wide changes, Article 100 definitions, Article 110 requirements for electrical installations, wiring design and protection,wiring methods and materials, and equipment for general use.



Course Objectives


Upon completion of this course, participants will understand the major changes in the National Electrical Code for the 2014 cycle. Specifically, changes related to:

In addition to being a Master Electrician, Jody is an ICC Certified Building Official and holds certifications as Building Plans Examiner, Building Inspector, Chief Building Code Analyst and One- and Two-Family Dwelling Inspector.
